Dimensions are approximate as the shrinkage rate does vary slightly depending on the conditions when manufactured. As the tanks are roto-moulded using a mould, the dimensions cannot be changed but there are several other options available. Please contact one of our friendly sales consultants for more details.

The Tank Factory will deliver your Duraplas tank FREE if you are situated between Bundaberg in North QLD, south to Wollongong in NSW and west to Moree. Many other areas in Australia are covered but may incur a delivery charge (contact one of our friendly sales consultants for details).

The free delivery includes a half an hour on site and the delivery driver will require assistance from you to help unload and position your tank. The persons required are listed below.

As each site is different, we will try at the time of organising the delivery, to assess any difficulties that may hinder the delivery process. The delivery drivers will decide as to what is deemed possible and safe once he arrives on site. If assistance cannot be provided then the hire or use of any equipment required is at the purchaser’s expense.

The purchaser needs to have a flat level and compacted site prepared ready to place the tank on. Sand, metal dust or concrete can be used but remember to retain all fill material to stop erosion at a later date. For more details see the ‘Installation guide’ under the ‘Further info’ menu bar.

Once The Tank Factory has confirmed receipt of your order we are committed to ensure that your Duraplas tank is delivered to your property within 4 weeks. Longer lead times may occur for premium colours or special orders.

The standard range includes:
Wilderness Green, Mist Green, Heritage Green, Smooth Cream, Merino & Beige.

The premium designer range of colours attract a 5% additional cost and are as follows: White, Black, Dusk, Armour Grey, Torris Blue, Stormedge Blue, Heritage Red, Slate Grey, Autumn Brown, Bronzed Olive, Mountain Blue, Wheat, Aubergine and Gull Grey.

Premium colour orders may result in longer lead times as the material is specially ordered from our supplier. See the ‘Colour range’ tab under the ‘Tank info’ bar in the main menu for a visual image of all the colours available.

Duraplas Water Tanks are warranted to perform the function for which they were designed, namely holding potable water at ambient rainwater temperatures for a period of 20 years. Lattice underground tanks are warranted for a period of 10 years. Industrial, chemical, molasses tanks, troughing and boats are warranted for a period of 5 years. All warranties are subject to the conditions on the full warranty which can be found under the ‘Further Info’ menu bar.

Water tanks come standard with one Stainless Steel mesh leaf strainer, a ‘Watermarked’ brass outlet and ball valve (25mm – 40mm) and an overflow pipe complete with a Stainless Steel cap.

Molasses tanks come standard with a poly screw in manhole lid and a 50mm – 80mm brass outlet (100mm outlet is available at a surcharge).

All Duraplas tanks supplied by The Tank Factory have shot weights which exceed industry standards. This ensures that your tank has thicker walls and is more robust. Computer aided production programmes and unique moulding techniques produces thicker wall sections down low - where the strength is required. All shot weights are guaranteed and can be viewed for each tank size under the tank descriptions. Ultra sound testing of the tanks ensures that they all meet the strict guidelines of AS/NZ4766 standard.
